Last Thursday our school showed a movie called Speaking in Tongues. This movie is about 4 kids on a journey to become bilingual.
The leadership team sold popcorn and we had dinner from three different cultures.
The lights went down, the movie started. Half of the fifth grade was moving up and down the halls guiding the smaller kids to different stations while the adults enjoyed the movie.
I enjoyed this movie because it made me think about diversity in different languages from a whole new point of view.
